Why the dots?

The brown, red, and blue dots have become part of the Batter signature. Dots seal tiny cookie bags, the dot stripe runs across tags and postcards, and custom colored candies speckle the polka dot cookies.


"Batter" shortbread grab the eye with a three lines of dots down the edge... and of course, they make the cookies taste more delicious!


Why dots? I LOVE polka dots. For some reason I gravitate toward anything with polka dots - bags, clothes, paper, bedding. I was given a hard time by a friend that he could guarantee I would like any gift as long as it had dots. That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I will admit, polka dots do make me happy.


When the time came to design Batter's logo, my only requirements were my three colors, a whisk, and polka dots. Brother delivered perfectly. I loved my logo from the start! Look for more Batter dots coming soon around town....!
